SAUDADES
Saudade (English: /ˌsaʊˈdɑːdə/) is a deep emotional state of nostalgic or profound melancholic longing for an absent something or someone that one cares for and/or loves while simultaneously providing positive emotions towards the future. This feeling of longing, melancholy, desire, and nostalgia is a characteristic of the Brazilian temperament, and one we can all relate to in times like these.
