Pottery Paint & Sip with Haivyn Daisy Workshop

Join LA based artist Haivyn Daisy for a day of flowers and creativity. Each participant will receive a pre-bisqued ceramic ikebana vase to use as a blank canvas for your self expression. Haivyn Daisy will be on site to guide you through the underglazing process.
Whether it’s an intricate design or personal message, you’re sure to end up with a piece that’s uniquely you. After our time together, Haivyn will apply a transparent glossy overglaze, fire them for a 2nd time, and they will be available for pickup in 2-2.5 weeks from the event date. Ikebana spike is included. Delivery or shipping is available for an additional fee if needed.

OESTE candle making Workshop

Spend an afternoon with Naomi Castillo of Oeste creating your own container candle in a fun interactive workshop where she'll share her tips and tricks on creating your own perfect scented candle.
During the workshop you will be guided step-by-step through the basics of the candle making process from scent exploration, assembly, and hand pouring. You'll have the opportunity to smell and test a wide selection of fragrance and essential oils to create your own special custom aromatic blend. Best of all? You'll go home with your own 10oz scented coconut soy wax candle creation that very day!
OESTE is Spanish for west, but for founder Naomi Castillo, Oeste also means home. Started in 2017 while Castillo was living in New York City and homesick for her family and native Los Angeles, Oeste creates soulful candles and other goods that celebrate Castillo's roots and the beauty of Latinx culture.
Back in LA since 2021, Castillo continues to create hand-poured aromatic candles now found in boutiques from coast to coast using high quality sustainable and eco-friendly materials that include a sumptuous blend of coconut and soy waxes, pure cotton wicks, the finest essential and fragrance oils, and recycled and reusable vessels. In the autumn of 2022 Castillo also opened an Oeste brick and mortar retail space on LA's eastside that offers a curated selection of found artisanal goods from designers and makers across the Latin American diaspora in addition to the Oeste line of goods.
